Peace And Freedom
I agree with the statement below, but only up to a point. I am fully aware of the fact that we do not live in paradise, Nevertheless, we need to strive to have both. When I say both, I mean peace and freedom. But when I say both: I also mean peace within and peace among. When I say freedom, I mean freedom within and freedom among. I say it can be accomplished, but only on a personal level. Societal and world level? I do not think that it has ever happened.
"You can have peace. Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once."
Robert A. Heinlein (1907-1988) American Writer
