Three Quotes About Labor

"Capital is a result of labor, and is used by labor to assist it in further production. Labor is the active and initial force, and labor is therefore the employer of capital." Henry George (1839-1897)

"All wealth is the product of labor." John Locke (1632-1704) English philosopher and political theorist.

"Without labor nothing prospers. "Sophocles(c 497/6 BC - 406/5 BC) Greek playwright

Gavin Grimm: Boy Or Girl?

Gavin Grimm is a girl who wants to use the boys' restroom at school. Get a life Gavin. Take the cards you were dealt at birth and use them to excel. Use them to grow. Use them to do great things. You must not be a liar. To live as, and pretend to be a man is futile. It is a lie. Please do not be a liar. Be a woman of destiny. Study. Develop moral parameters from a source that is tried and true. Do not get caught up in the political correctness mentality. You are being used for motives that are not pure. They are not righteous. You are a female. Stay away from the ACLU. They are poison. They want to poison you. To be so adamant about wanting to use the boys' restroom is such a waste of time, talent and resources

Two Quotes About Taxes

"Governments last as long as the undertaxed can defend themselves against the overtaxed."
Bernard Berenson (1865-1959) American art historian

"Collecting more taxes than is absolutely necessary is legalized robbery."
Calvin Coolidge (1873-1933), 30th US President

Abraham Lincoln's Death-Bismarck's View

"The death of Lincoln was a disaster for Christendom. There was no man in the United States great enough to wear his boots and the bankers went anew to grab the riches. I fear that foreign bankers with their craftiness and tortuous tricks will entirely control the exuberant riches of America and use it to systematically corrupt civilisation."

Otto von Bismarck (1815-1898) Founder of the German Empire, Prime minister of Prussia, Germany’s First Chancellor after the Lincoln assassination

Hindrances To The Truth

Sometimes people are afraid to speak the truth. At other times, some are unwilling to speak it. They have their reasons. Or should I say....excuses? I think it is usually related to pride, ignorance and fear. The famous English philosopher and scientist by the name of Roger Bacon covered it fairly well. RD

"There are in fact four very significant stumblingblocks in the way
of grasping the truth, which hinder every man however learned, and scarcely allow anyone to win a clear title to wisdom, namely,

the example of weak and unworthy authority,
longstanding custom,
the feeling of the ignorant crowd,
and the hiding of our own ignorance while making a display of our apparent knowledge."

Roger Bacon (1220-1292

Denver Chick Filet Haters

Apparently someone in Denver does not want Chick-Fil-A to set up shop at the Denver airport. Why? Because the owners are Christians who do not believe in same-sex marriage. Here is my response to the Chic-Filet haters.

What is happening to freedom in this great country? Are people not entitled to practice their faith, have opinions and points of view? Chick-fil-A is harming nobody. They are being discriminated against just because the ownership holds Biblical beliefs. Part of the problem is jealousy. Those who do not agree with CFA’s faith are insanely jealous of their financial success. Keep it up Chick-fil-A, keep it up! You are a beacon of light in our society! Not only that, every school of business within the illustrious universities of our beautiful nation should require their students to hear presentations given by representatives of CFA, before they earn their undergraduate degrees. Why? Because “nothing succeeds like success!”

Seek, Find And Live The Truth

We must continue to fight the good fight. Yes, sin exists in our world. Yes, unbelief exists in our world. Yes, God is (He does not just "exist") And if you believe that, you believe at least a portion of what the Bible teaches. Why not believe more than a portion? Things will get better when ALL Christian denominations preach what the Bible teaches. For starters: Any Church, that calls itself Christian, needs to stop baptizing infants, because it constitutes a forced baptism. ALL Christian Churches need to realize that Jesus is God, and "that in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Col. 2:9) If Jesus is God, then there is no need to pray to anyone else. All Christian Churches need to allow their priests and ministers to marry, if they desire to do so. Read I Timothy 4:1-4. (KJV) Does it not refer to “doctrines of devils”? What about the doctrine of not eating meat on Fridays? (which was taught for many years) “Commanding to abstain from meats.” Doctrines of devils? You be the judge. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6) Which do we choose, knowledge from the Word of God, or yielding to the societal pressures of political correctness? Making wrong choices can be devastating to both society and individuals. What are we going to do about it? Seek the truth, find it, live it. “And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all of your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13) "All of your heart?" Yes, "all of your heart." This means that God is not "incidental" in our lives. Study the Word of God. Why not start with the Gospel of John 1:1-14, then go to Chapter 3:1-21. From there, go to Acts, Chapters 1 and 2. Then study Chapters 6 and 8 of the Epistle of Romans. Give your life to Jesus. The best is yet to come!
