Christian Club Accused At U. of Iowa

Christianity has proven to be a positive influence on society.  To be a Christian does not mean one will live a flawless life.  However, it does teach certain principles and doctrines.  It teaches the sanctity of marriage.  Marriage is between a man and a woman.  Homosexuality is considered to be an abomination, according to the Word of God.  This is a clear case of someone attempting to deny a religious group from existing.  It is being done via scandal.  Basically, the Bible teaches what it teaches.  What God has said, He has said.  Political activism will not change God's Word.  This whole issue has absolutely nothing to do hatred.  It has to do with belief and freedom.

I have thought of it so many times.  To be free involves a great deal of responsibility.  It involves limits, respect and a fair knowledge of the importance of consequences.  The following quote touches the point.   RD

A Would Be "Star" Is Gone

He died not too long ago.  I won't mention his name.  He was a frustrated entertainer/singer who was bothered by those whose talent made them successful.  He was an angry person who used drugs to his detriment.  "Death to the pigs!"  No.  What did he really mean?  He was once being interviewed and he started singing.  He then implied that because of his talent he would become a star.  Well, yes he did have charisma.  Yes, he did have leadership skills.  Yes, he did have a way with words.  Is one to "use his gifts" to murder and commit atrocities?  No.  Do so, pay the price.  The murderer pays the price.  He can blame the "political winds" all he wants.  The criminal goes to prison.  The talented star receives fame and fortune.  Simply stated:  Some people become famous.  Some people become infamous.

A War Memorial?

I cannot believe my eyes. Surely this is not happening in/to our beautiful country. This is insane. This is an advertisement. It is not a memorial. It is an advertisement to promote and legitimize a perverted lifestyle that causes serious diseases and produces no new generations. I thank all veterans for their service. I too, am a veteran. However, sexual preference has absolutely nothing to do with honoring these men and women. Also, it has absolutely nothing to do with race or color. Race and color are not choices. With the exception of forced criminal activity, sexual conduct is a choice.  (My response to a perverted memorial depicted by a military person)

True Education..........And Results

I agree with the above quote.  However, I am convinced that a true education, a complete education; must not ignore the importance of having and education that involves instruction, awareness of, and the practice of conduct that is guided by tested moral parameters.
To prove my point, I will quote Woodrow Wilson.  He  practiced law.  He was President of  Princeton University for 8 years.  Later, he 
became the 28th President of the United States.  He was a firm believer in the Bible.  He believed in doing the right thing.  He was President of the nation when the US entered World War I.  The following is a portion of a long presentation he made to the American people regarding the entrance to that War.    RD

Is it really so unreasonable to expect men to represent themselves
as men, and women to represent themselves as women?  Is it really wrong to embrace the truth and not feel comfortable to go along with a lie, and not want to call a "him"a "her," and a "her" a "him"?  In case one does not understand, and considers cross dressing a "form of expression," I call it what it is.....a lie.  It is a form of misrepresentation.  I remember in San Diego, decades ago, nicely dressed female impersonators would roam the streets of downtown. They were prohibited from using the women's bathroom of a well-known theater.  The sign above "women" on the door declared: "No queenies allowed!"   Yes, these days there are also males and females.  Each were assigned one of the two distinctions at birth.  I know, some people have tried to change their gender.  They were/are unable to do so.  It has already been assigned, just like fingerprints.  Universal moral parameters do not give permission to lie.  They do not.  Lying under oath in a court of law is called perjury.  It is a serious crime.  The act of lying to a friend is called betrayal.  What does God say about lying?  He calls it a sin.  He does gender assigning.  He does not make mistakes.  Gender was assigned at birth.

It is a guideline established a long, long time ago. When it is violated, the sparks fly. They will continue to fly due to rebellion, ignorance, disobedience and self-will. It is not rocket science. If you were born a boy, be a boy. If you were born a girl, be a girl.
