Time is More Valuable Than Money

If you have 5 minutes and you waste it; you will never get it back. Time moves on. It stops for nobody. It does not play favorites. It runs on, and we run out of it. This does not mean we need to be in a hurry all of the time. It means we need not be wasting time. Do relaxing, taking a nap, reading a book, going for a walk, thinking, and other activities that do not necessarily produce a visible result constitute a wasting of time? No. However, an excess amount of relaxing is detrimental to a person's mental, physical and spiritual health. Particularly if a person has developed a value system in his life that appreciates the fact that the time that we have to spend here on this earth as living human beings is a gift from God. To make a point, "The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, the world, and they that dwell their in". The scripture from the book of Psalms tells us that all of the riches of the earth belong to God. Did He not make them? They are tangible and obtainable. He will give those riches to whomever He pleases, particularly to those who do not waste time. Riches are always around, somewhere, but time and good timing flee like a fast bird.

I love my wife

I love my wife for so many reasons that I cannot list them all right here. I am sometimes rude, unkempt, inconsiderate, messy, fat, and not real bright. My dear wife loves me anyway. She has put up with me for 31 years and 8 months. We have 3 grown children and 2 beautiful granddaughters. If I can find a wife; anyone can. It is quite simple to explain; God did a miracle in my life and has blessed me beyond measure. God does miracles. I can testify to that. He continues to do them. I have much more to say but I will save it for another time.

I give thanks

Life is what you make it. If you want to make it a glorious experience, you may. If you want to make it a real dumpster, you can do that too. That is available. We make choices. We make choices that benefit us and we make choices that harm us. In my past I made some very poor choices. I wanted to make better choices. But I could not make better choices because I was dominated by an evil spirit. This is probably the reason that many people say, "the devil made me do it". But Jesus rescued me. Now I have the Holy Spirit and it is more powerful than any evil spirit. I choose to give thanks today. I choose to love God. I choose to serve God. I choose to pray. I choose to study His Word. I choose to give thanks. I give Him thanks for my life, for my health, for my family, for my job, for my future, and for the peace and joy that He has given me. God has blessed my life materially and spiritually. I am forever grateful to Him and I am forever indebted to Him. I will serve Him all my days and I will give Him thanks all my life.
