"Hatred Is Not A Family Value"?

Today I saw a car sticker on a bumper that said "Hatred is not a family value."  I agree. Hatred is neither a family value, nor is it of any value. I have seen that statement before.  It is usually quoted by those who think that they are hated because they are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. I am none of the aforementioned.  I  disagree with those lifestyles.  I disagree with same sex marriage.  My points of view have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with hatred. Nothing! Hatred is not part of the picture. The Word of God speaks against such conduct.  The greatest commandment in the whole Bible is the following:  "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."(Matt. 22:37 NKJV) Those are the words of Jesus. And there is much, much more.  So, who is my "neighbor"?  In the sense that Jesus was using that term, the answer is everyone.   I refuse to hate anyone.  I will not do it.  But I do not agree with everything people do/say or with every lifestyle they choose.   Do you?
