Women In Combat

I realize wars are not fought the same way they were fought in WW I, WW II,  Korea  and Vietnam.      There are some serious issues related to circumstances in war that need to be addressed.  This issue is not about equal opportunity for women in the military.  This issue is a bigger one.  It is about erasing gender differences so that one day everyone will be gender neutral.  This could only happen in the society of phony righteousness/fairness.  Either something is advantageous  or it is not.  I realize trends, fads, styles, customs and  values change.  But some things will never change.  Rules, regulations, laws and standards set by men cannot be perfect.  If something is imperfect, making it less perfect does not improve it.  For example: guidelines set up for war can never be perfect.  What can possibly be perfect about  guidelines for military forces in war, guidelines for killing others.  There are reasons for why you do not put women "up front."  it is not because the military is denying them some kind of "fair opportunity"  No way.  It is because it is not in the best interest of war time objectives.  I will finish my words by telling you that Jessica Lynch was a prisoner of war in the Middle East.  She was wounded.  She was raped and sodomized repeatedly.  This is what a female soldier fighting on the front lines can look forward to if she is captured.  Female soldiers sustained more casualties in Iraq in 2007 than male soldiers.  The high rate of soldiers who are single women and get pregnant  is one of the best kept secrets in the military.  Three times as many female soldiers than male soldiers were evacuated from combat zones.  Of those women, 74% were for pregnancy related issues. Is this how we are supposed to fight wars?  Do we send troops to a war zone to fight the enemy?  Or do we send troops there to run some sort of "social experiment"?
