Three Groups Spending Our Money

Children spend money that was earned by someone else.  This is okay.  Particularly since they cannot work.  They are children.  They can help out.  They can perform tasks  They can be taught how to do things that can assist someone and save someone some time and steps.  Children need to be supervised

Thieves break the law.  They steal money from stores, banks, houses, directly from people and other places. Sometimes they get caught.  Sometimes they don't.  When they go to jail or prison, they are supervised.

Politicians like to find ways to extract money from those they represent.  They do this by passing laws that involve fees, taxes and other payments that the people must then pay.  Politicians also need supervision, but it is much more difficult than the previous two groups.

After I saw the quote below, I really felt that I needed to expand on it a little bit.  Dick Armey hit the nail right on the head.

"Three groups spend other people's money: children, thieves, politicians.  All three need supervision."

Dick Armey                (1940- ) U.S. Congressman, TX-R
